About This Activity

Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton will host their 12th annual Major Taylor Signature Bike Ride. There will be 2 rides an Adult Ride (18 years of age and over; under 18 with an accompanying adult) with 18, 36 and approx 67 mile routes and a 5-10 mile Family Fun Ride (with children 17 years of age and under). A parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years of age and under on the family ride.

The 18/36/67miles will start together. The route will be flat to rolling hills. After the 1st rest stop the route becomes more challenging for the 36 and  67 miles. The route takes you through Dayton, Moraine, Jefferson, West Carrollton, Farmersville, Lewisburg, Brookville and back to Dayton. Pre-registration $25 for 18/36/67 mile routes and $5 for family ride.  Add $5 once pre-registration closes and for day of registration.  Proceeds benefit local Dayton charities and bicycle safety and youth cycling development. Friday July 12th 

3:00 pm Pre-ride

Saturday July 13th

6:30 am check in/registration opens.  

7:00 am all routes begin. For those riding the 67 mile route begin not later than 8 am; those riding the 35 mile course begin by 8:30 and those riding the 18 mile course start by 9 am.

9:30 am Family ride begins

10:00 am Lunch truck opens

2:00 pm All riders should be off the course/ lunch stops.

6:15 pm Post-ride Social at Levitt Pavilion Patio (patio to right of stage).  Food provided and you may purchase alcoholic beverages at the pavilion if you desire or bring your own (NO GLASS). Levitt Pavilion is walkable from Fairfield Inn/Riverscape MetroPark. Concert starts at 7 pm. The Levitt Pavilion Dayton is in the heart of downtown Dayton, located on South Main Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets.  Parking:  The Oregon District Parking garage off 5th street is $1 during our concerts. The Reibold garage is $2 during our concerts and street parking is free on weekdays after 6PM and on weekends.

Sunday 14th

7:45 am Post ride with optional Linden Hill Climb . A, B, and C pace groups starts from Welcome Stadium Parking Lot D

10:00 am  Dayton Landmark Ride Slo Roll of Dayton historical sites.  Ride to be completed by noon.
